Nearly 50% of Colorado pregnancies are unintended, and the rate is even higher among young adults in their twenties. In an effort to address this alarming trend, the Colorado Initiative to Reduce Unintended Pregnancy with the support of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment wanted to raise statewide awareness and help people think, discuss and take responsible action on some of life’s biggest decisions.

Beforeplay.org encourages young adults to take control of their sexual health with risk-reduction strategies to lead happy, healthy lives and plan for the future. The campaign is anchored in web and social channels (prioritized by statewide research with the target audience). Providing useful resources, like a birth control method selector and get talking tool, the online and mobile optimized website is a hub for the campaign.
